I think I'm going to try out a garden this year. I've had very little success in the past because we travel so much and there was no one to take care of it. But this year I feel an "urgency" to have something - even if it's just going to be tomatoes. So I spent a little time with our very own Katie Davis yesterday and I just feel so encouraged about all of this. She's one knowledgeable chick and a sweetheart for being so willing to share with us. I definitely plan on attending her gardening classes on Sat mornings!
I also wanted to remind everyone about a link I sent out some time ago. It takes you to a list of Gardening Newsletters from Erlyn Madsen. We found out about her when an article was posted in a local newspaper last fall. What I love about her is that she lives right here in our valley and so her gardening tips are appropriate for our weather and soil etc. Be sure to go to #40 which gives you a list of where to begin during the month of March.
